Dom Perignon Plènitude 2 2004: a prolonged elevation!
This vintage, compared to the previous 2003, was characterized by a moderate climate, with a cool August, leading to a regular harvest at the end of September. The harvested grapes were characterized by their abundance and generosity.
P2 indicates the "Plénitude Deuxième", i.e. the second time window in which Champagne develops significantly; this occurs on average after 15 years of refinement. There is also P3 which is identified after 25 years.

Aging: almost 18 years on the yeasts
Vinification: 48% Pinot Noir, 52% Chardonnay (grapes selected exclusively from Grand Cru vineyards)
Dosage: Brut
Bright golden yellow in color, with an extremely subtle and elegant perlage
On the nose you immediately notice the large and rich bouquet of this Champagne, where citrus, toasted, buttery and pink grapefruit notes stand out.
On the palate it is generous, mineral but at the same time creamy, fresh but also buttery, the perfect description of balance and elegance.
