For the first time in the history of the house, the 2008 vintage was aged only in magnum bottles. That's because, although it was a banner year, the harvest was the smallest ever, with just 8,000 magnum bottles produced. The choice to grow only magnum bottles was made because these have a size that allows for slow and delicate maturation.

To further enhance this fantastic bottle, and to avoid it being snapped up given the small quantities, the maison has decided not to market the single bottle, but to include it in a set, including two 75cl bottles for each of the following vintages : 2007 (La Lumière), 2006 (Le Romantique) and 2004 (La Sérénité).
