The House of Piper Heidsieck claims that this Champagne "offers the certainty of unlimited growth potential".
It is produced only in certain vintages, those considered to be the best from a qualitative point of view and, without a doubt, the 2008 vintage is one of these.
Rare 2008 is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, whose grapes come from the Crus of Reims and the Côte des Bar.
From the official website RARE-CHAMPAGNE.COM
Vinification: 70% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Noir
Aging: over 55 months on the yeasts
Dosage: Brut
At sight it has a straw yellow color with golden reflections, with a fine and persistent effervescence.
On the nose you can perceive floral, mineral, fruity notes of pear, peach and citrus and also balsamic on the finish.
On the palate it is fresh and mineral, full but balanced with a persistent finish.
