The Millésime Bally 2000 Agricultural Rum is a French-style agricultural rum from the island of Martinique, Caribbean.
These vintage rums are born from the intuition of Jacques Bally who has been selecting his distillates from the best vintages since 1924, without blending them with other vintages. An idea of great modernity that brings the concept of terroir and vintage, typical of the world of wine, to the world of agricultural rums, demonstrating the great influence that atmospheric conditions can have on the harvest and consequently on the distillate.
Bally 2002 is a vintage agricultural rum that offers the possibility of appreciating all the aromatic characteristics of the same vintage. It is produced not from molasses, but from pure sugar cane juice, harvested only in the months of January and February, and then aged in oak barrels for at least 6 years in a tropical climate.
At sight it has an amber color, the nose distinguishes mineral notes, tobacco, dried fruit and plum. On the palate it is powerful, but still sweet and venerino, with citrus and dried fruit notes.
