La Grande Année is the embodiment of the carefully preserved traditional expertise of the Bollinger Champagne House. The wine is therefore exclusively vinified in small aged oak barrels. Champagne Bollinger has never abandoned this traditional craft method, which helps develop aromas of great finesse. After a prolonged ageing on its lees, even today every bottle of La Grande Année is riddled and disgorged by hand.

La Grande Année Rosé 2014 is a blend of 19 crus, mainly in Aÿ and Verzenay for the Pinot Noir and Chouilly and Oiry for the Chardonnay. 5% red wine from the Côte aux Enfants plot is added.
The 2014 vintage gave rise to a wine that is at the same time structured, rich and complex, both in terms of minerality and exceptional intensity.
Salmon-pink gold color, with orange and golden reflections, the nose is a real mosaic of fruit ranging from raspberry to wild strawberries, from cherry to nectarine, passing through subtle citrus gusts of pink grapefruit and a hint of toasted hazelnut and crunchy to cherries. On the palate it is very fresh, with a splendid gustatory volume and an enchanting mineral texture and the flavors recall cherry and toasted bread.
