In 1724 Rémy Martin, a winemaker in the Cognac region, created the homonymous brand represented by a centaur as a symbol of the union between man and nature.
All the grapes used for these Cognacs come exclusively from the two best vineyards in the region: Grande and Petite Champagne. The secret lies in the limestone soil of the region, which makes it soft and porous allowing the roots of the vine to grow unimpeded. The result is exceptionally aromatic grapes and brandy with superior aging potential.
Louis XIII, one of their exceptional cognacs created in 1874, became the flagship product of the house, famously consumed by Churchill and General De Gaulle. Over the years, Rémy Martin Cognac has established itself in the luxury sector with increasingly exclusive and renowned products.
