The Hausham mine mined coal until 1966. Hausham has been making money with rum since 2017. The finest rum has been flowing through the stills of the LANTENHAMMER distillery ever since.
The Kohlenhunt is the hallmark of Bavarian RUMULT. It commemorates the history of Hausham and represents the hard work of the miners underground.

For his latest creation, Tobias Maier "experimented rum" for a long time. The result is an unmistakable Bavarian rum and a unique combination of the best raw materials from the paradisiacal island of Mauritius and the masterful art of Bavarian distilling.
For more than five years, the award-winning master distiller of the traditional Upper Bavarian distillery Lantenhammer dealt  intensively with the topic of rum and pursued his idea of ​​creating a Bavarian rum and distilling it himself with the greatest passion.
