La Tequilera Corralejo, SA de CV, also known as Hacienda Corralejo, was built in 1775 by Pedro Sánchez de Tagle and was the first estate in Mexico to produce tequila as a commercial venture and, as such, among the very few tequila distilleries which has been granted the right to produce in a province other than Jalisco.
